Candy Bar Sales

Support a Cause, One Candy Bar at a Time!

At 360 Federal Credit Union, we’re committed to making a positive impact in our community, and we invite you to join us in supporting local and global causes! Each month, we partner with a different charity, and the proceeds raised through our employee-led initiatives go directly to that cause.

Sweet Support – Candy Bars for Charity

Throughout the month, our team will be selling candy bars at our branch locations. Every candy bar purchased helps support the charity of the month, making it a simple and delicious way to give back!

Dress Down for a Good Cause

In addition to our candy bar sales, our employees have the opportunity to pay just $5 to wear jeans to work on designated days. All proceeds collected from this “Jeans Day” go directly to the local food banks that change quarterly.

We believe in the power of community and the difference we can make together. Your support helps us make a meaningful impact – whether it’s through the purchase of a candy bar or simply by helping our employees dress down for a good cause.

Join us in making the world a better place, one sweet treat at a time!

Monthly Charities:

January & February: Enfield Safe Harbor Warming Center

The Enfield Safe Harbor Warming Center, part of Enfield People for People, provides shelter and support to the homeless in Enfield during harsh New England winters, offering a safe space for them to meet basic needs and connect with local resources. Operated by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, the center relies on community partnerships and donations to continue its vital work.

March & April: Cake4Kids CT

Cake4Kids is working to brighten the lives of at-risk and underserved youth by delivering free, custom-made birthday cakes across the country. Serving children in foster care, group homes, or facing difficult circumstances like domestic violence or homelessness, Cake4Kids provides a small but meaningful gesture to show these children they are cared for and special.

May & June: NAMI CT

The National Alliance on Mental Illness: What started as a small group of families gathered around a kitchen table in 1979 has blossomed into the nation’s leading voice on mental health. Today, we are an alliance of more than 600 local affiliates who work in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available to those in need.

July & August: Lucky Fin

The Lucky Fin Project celebrates individuals with limb differences, particularly those born with symbrachydactyly, a condition where fingers or hands do not fully develop. Founded by Molly Stapelman after her daughter Ryan was born with this condition, the nonprofit raises awareness, offers support for families, and provides resources, education, and financial aid for children with limb differences to attend specialized camps and access prosthetics. The organization aims to show that differences should be celebrated, not seen as limitations.

September & October: Rick’s Place

“Rick’s Place compassionately supports grieving children, teens and their families through facilitated peer activities, school-based programs and community outreach. Our goal is to provide a trusting environment in which participants who are grieving the death of a loved one can share their experiences, receive support and find comfort. Rick’s Place vision is for grieving children, teens and families to be able to find comfort, develop resilience and grow stronger together.”

November & December: CT Children with Incarcerated Parents

In response to rising prison populations and budget deficits, Connecticut implemented a “justice reinvestment” initiative in 2003 aimed at reducing incarceration rates while maintaining public safety. In 2007, the state began focusing on the needs of children with incarcerated parents (CIP), recognizing the unique challenges they face. The Institute for Municipal & Regional Policy (IMRP) has since worked to improve support for these children through research, grants, and policy development, with the goal of reducing stigma and providing effective interventions for this at-risk population.
